Our company aims for early production under covers by selecting strawberry and blueberry varieties suitable for the climatic conditions of our production region. In consideration of our export targets, we prefer varieties that are resistant to long transportation periods. All of our seedlings are certified.
We practice soilless farming in our greenhouse for the production of strawberries and blueberries. This method minimizes the use of agricultural chemicals in pest control, allows for controlled plant nutrition, and ensures high-quality yield while conserving water.
Our production processes are controlled by computer and automation systems. Through real-time meteorological data and sensors within the greenhouse, ideal climate conditions are provided for the plants, and an appropriate feeding program is automatically generated.
Pollination in our greenhouse is achieved through specially bred bumblebees, without the use of any chemicals or hormones.
Our production processes and product quality are continuously monitored through regular and surprise inspections conducted by authorized audit firms and Provincial/District Agricultural Directorates.
The purpose of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) is to ensure the production of goods that are not harmful to human health and the environment. To achieve this, GAP recommends the application of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Integrated Crop Management (ICM) techniques together in production. Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles are employed to ensure hygienic conditions during harvesting and storage, and to prevent any contamination of the product. As Good Agricultural Practices consider quality in agricultural production, the environment in which agricultural production takes place, and the well-being of those involved in the production, we also utilize ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standards. Thus, the products obtained in accordance with Good Agricultural Practices are guaranteed to be free from chemical, microbiological, and physical residues that are harmful to human health; produced without polluting the environment or causing harm to the natural balance; not negatively affecting humans and other living beings during production; and produced in compliance with the agricultural legislation of the countries of production and consumption.
Our company is certified with "Good Agriculture" for strawberry production and is in the process of completing Global GAP certification for blueberry production.
We conduct strawberry harvesting from November to June and blueberry harvesting from March to June.
Different levels of ripeness, color, and calibers are harvested for export and the domestic market.
After blueberry harvesting, sorting is carried out using machinery. The product is divided into three sizes: below 14 mm, 14-18 mm, and above 18 mm (Jumbo) for packaging.
For strawberries, we offer standard packaging options such as 5 kg loose, 0.5 kg lidded clamshell, and 0.25 kg lidded flat clamshell. For international shipments and upon request for the domestic market, we also provide packaging in 10 x 0.5 kg or 10 x 0.25 kg cardboard crates.
For blueberries, we offer standard packaging in 5 kg loose and 0.125 kg lidded clamshell. The 5 kg loose product is packed in plastic crates, while the 0.125 kg clamshells are packed in 12 x 0.125 kg cardboard boxes.
Alternative packaging options can be provided upon customer request. For air cargo and road transportation, packaging can be tailored to the desired dimensions, including corner protectors, pallet caps, straps, and netting, to ensure readiness for shipment.
Our facility is equipped with a three-compartment cold storage. The fruit core temperature is reduced to 2°C within 2 hours (pre-cooling), and the products are stored at temperatures between 2°C and 4°C until shipment, ensuring the preservation of the cold chain.
We use our own refrigerated vehicle to transport our products, ensuring the integrity of the cold chain, delivering to our customers and airport cargo terminals.
We export our products directly, supply goods to export companies, make direct deliveries to bakery chains, and provide our retail customers with our products through our online store via direct shipment without intermediaries.
Starting from 2023, our company introduces its products to consumers in national and international markets under the SoBerry brand.
We export to Russia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Singapore, and EU countries. We continue our efforts to expand our international sales network.
In our 800-square-meter R&D greenhouse, we conduct climate and lighting simulations for different product groups to carry out our R&D studies.
Our goal is to implement urban farming by minimizing logistics requirements through new technologies, enabling agricultural production in metropolitan areas, and placing agriculture at the center of cities.
